SUBJECT: “THE GLORY PRESENCE AT PENTECOST.”

“And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, “which,” He said, “you have heard from Me; for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.” -Acts 1:4-5

Many times, PROMISES are made but not fulfilled. JESUS made a PROMISE that was not delayed or hindered by the enemy. Apostle Luke wrote about the last PROMISE, JESUS made to his disciples about the coming of Pentecost. Luke wrote, “And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, “which,” He said, “you have heard from Me; for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”(Acts 1:4-5) “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” (Acts 1:8.)

Just as JESUS said it would happen, it did. The Bible says when the PROMISED Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all in one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, it filled the whole room where they were sitting.

Then suddenly, different tongues, like fire, sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the “Holy Spirit” and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. Because they all OBEYED, they all received the fulfillment of the PROMISE that JESUS made. That same PROMISE is still active today if we desire it. Hallelujah and amen for the “Glory Grace Presence “ of Holy Pentecost today.

Remember:

50 days after JESUS’ resurrection came Pentecost. It was that day GOD’S Holy Spirit down from heaven to abide in all believers like you and me forever.

Prayer:

Thank you for so securing JESUS’ promise of your Holy Spirit to abide in us always. May the Holy Spirit help to obey your commands and walk in your righteous ways so that Your Spirit in us will not be disrespected or neglected. Hallelujah and Amen, in His Holy, matchless name.

Food For Thought:

“When you strip it of everything else, Pentecost stands for power and life. That's what came into the church when the Holy Spirit came down on the day of Pentecost.” -David Wilkerson
