“Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.” Matthew 26:39 NIV
JESUS never gave up! Even though He was mentally, physically, and spiritually tired, JESUS kept going. Why? Because He Prayed to His father and asked for Strength for the long journey ahead of him. I have observed since the onset of the pandemic NOTHING has been the same. Yes, the economy rebooted itself, but NOTHING was the same or got better. Things have changed and are yet changing, seemingly not for the Glory of GOD but for the welfare of certain political parties only. We need spiritual strength like JESUS prayed for.
He knew what was ahead, and he still prayed for God to give him the strength to finish the assignment. Collectively, we all have a specific assignment that needs God's strength. Therefore, let us wake up and Pray for strength for the journey ahead of us. If we say we are the Body of Christ who leads the way for the world to follow, we must WAKE UP and ask God to strengthen our discernment and fortitude for His Will to be done on the journey ahead of us.
Remember:
Whatever GOD has commissioned you to do, He will always have everything and more you need to start and finish the assignment. So, that All Praise, Honor, and Glory goes to GOD.
Prayer:
Dear Heavenly FATHER,
Thank you for being our mental healing strength, physical healing strength, and spiritual healing strength. May we give you all the Glory for being your faithful will and being our anchor for the journey ahead. -In Your Matchless Name, Jesus, Amen.

Food For Thought:
“At times, life is hard, as hard as crucible steel. It has its bleak and painful moments. Like the ever-flowing water of a river, life has its moments of drought and its moments of flood. Like the ever-changing cycle of the seasons, life has the soothing warmth of the summers and the piercing chill of its winters. But through it all, God walks with us. Never forget that God is able to lift you from the fatigue of despair to the buoyancy of hope, and transform dark and desolate valleys into sunlit paths of inner peace.”-Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
