“I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them; I will remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh. Then they will follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. They will be my people, and I will be their God.” -Ezekiel 11:19-20
It doesn’t take long for a spiritual heart to become calloused with uncertainty and disbelief. A calloused heart can be hardened by the uneven influential social and spiritual platforms in our society today. A calloused heart produces exile from GOD. This is what Ezekiel meant when he prophesied to Israel the good news about GOD being a heart-changer for a calloused heart. The promise GOD made was to change the heart from the inside out.
The New Year is a special time to trade in your calloused heart wombs for a new, transformed heart. It’s a time to take a personal inventory of your heart's relationship with GOD. Ephesians 1:4 Voice translation says: “God chose us to be in a relationship with Him even before He laid out plans for this world; He wanted us to live holy lives characterized by love, free from sin, and blameless before Him.” In other words, GOD chose us to have a well-balanced relationship with Him. He knows that our hearts should not be hardened towards the Promises He made to us. Our checks have to be in balance with His Plan, Purpose, and Will.
We lose time holding on to our fears, misunderstandings, and burdens. We must realize since GOD chose us to be in a good relationship with Him, we should let our trust anchor down…” Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6. KJV. GOD willed JESUS to our daily life-line anchor. Is He Yours?
Remember:
Spiritual Anchors allow us to align and agree with GOD’s Will and not man.
Prayer:
Dear Heavenly FATHER,
Thank you, Great Almighty Father, for Jesus being the promised Anchor to the world. May we let down our eternal life promise with faith and trust anchors attached? In Your Matchless Name, Jesus, Amen.
