Black History Month is celebrated against the backdrop of where black people came from. Our rich culture originated from the shores of Africa. Black history is so deep and wide that one abbreviated post could not introduce its background. We also know that one month can not begin to cover our Monumental History either. Frankly speaking, one of the main unfortunate bedrocks in our history is SLAVERY.
Even today, black people continue to suffer from the so-called privileged enforcing high-tech slavery. But, our great God who sees all is taking notes of all. There is not a good way of saying that slavery of any kind is unrighteous and demoralizing. I believe in the eyes of GOD that SLAVERY is a grievance to His will for all of His people. High-tech privileged slavery grieves the heart of GOD because He created us to be spiritually free slaves unto Him.
Remember:
Our internal salvation is our external eternal freedom in GOD.
Prayer:
Dear Heavenly FATHER,
Thank you for being all of your dear children’s internal and external peaceful freedom. May we ever be mindful that your spiritual freedom is not privileged with cost but a choice of accepting JESUS CHRIST as Lord and savior in turn of eternal life- Amen in JESUS’ Mighty name.
