SUBJECT: “REPENTANCE, THE AWAKENING DOOR DURING LENT SEASON.”

“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9 NIV

Accepting JESUS is the first and only door to eternal life. And so is REPENTANCE the main door to the heart of JESUS. Repentance is the inescapable door for those who are truly commemorating the Lenten Season. The Repentance bell sounds out its time to take a different direction. It is a Spirit-led U-turn that empowers you to turn from your sins and turn to GOD for His grace.

The Lenten season gives us so many different pillars that rearrange our lives into a new beginning. This is the very reason we do not have to be in despair during Lent. Because it is a season of REPENTANCE and RE-DEDICATION as we prepare to commemorate Easter-Resurrection.

Not only does REPENTANCE during the Lenten Season force us to make u-turns it Centralizes us to be consistent in our daily living for the LORD. It opens GOD’s Grace door to abide among us and over us daily. REPENTANCE also involves turning to GOD with the main intention to reflect, confess, and repent.

Thank you for desiring to hear our repentant prayers. May the Holy Spirit help us pray the difficult hard prayer of repentance we need to pray daily. -In Jesus's Name, Amen.
