In 1979, before her death, Minnie Riperton wrote a beautiful song entitled “Back Down Memory Lane.” That song became very popular even though she passed away without witnessing the success of it. Revisiting Memory Lane can be a great Blessing and a time to encourage yourself in all the LORD has allowed and done. How many times have You thanked God for the unique gift of memory? Just being able to remember His Lovingkindness is a Miracle. At the same time, losing loved ones will force you to revisit memory lane more often than you choose to.
Without the unique gift of memory, even the simplest and most essential things will fade into the distance. To avoid forgetting, why not take a trip down 2023 Memory Lane? I guarantee it will serve you well to check off ALL that GOD has done just this year. Revisiting Memory Lane has great benefits; it’s a sentimental time to retrace GOD’s footprints in your life, reviewing the good and not-so-good lessons you have learned and how to forgive and love like JESUS. This is the Memory Lane worth revisiting and testifying about.
WARNING: Memories can Bless us, or they can hinder us. But I Pray we let all of our 2023 memories Bless us. Romans 8:28 empowers us to remember what we believe by faith. It says, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” The more we meditate on these things, the more we grow like Christ. This is what living life now is all about so that we can have Eternal Life later.

The unique gift of “Memory” and going down ‘Memory Lane” is a special Blessing “IF” you use it for good things according to the Gospel of JESUS CHRIST.

Dear Heavenly FATHER,
Thank you for an opportunity to revisit and recall all the Blessings you provided for us in 2023. We may not remember them all, but we certainly thank You for them all. -Amen, in the Loving name of JESUS.
