“Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity.” -Psalm 37:1 KJV
Who is greater than our Great Almighty GOD? Who is more powerful than our Great King of Kings? Who has ALL Authority and Dominion over the universe? These are not research questions. These are questions to remind us as dear children of GOD to “not to fret.” Fretting causes stress; stress causes your blood pressure to rise, and blood pressure rising causes multiple health conditions, including death. GOD never intended for us to fret over things happening that we cannot control.
Our job is to Pray and trust Him to do what we cannot do. When we trust in the LORD, we choose to Believe Him to come through for us. Why? Because of GOD’S reliable track record. His promises and faithfulness to ever leave us no matter what we face is the guarantee that we should not fret. Earthly Kings and Presidents are not bigger or stronger than our Great Almighty GOD.
Therefore, our confidence in His unlimited authority, dominion, and power should cancel out our fret and bring us peace. I challenge you to entrust “everything” that you are concerned about to the LORD. He is capable of carrying it. 1 Peter 5:7 AMP says, “casting all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully].”
Remember:
Our Holy GOD has plans, purposes, and a will for His dear children. We can trust Him because He knows best.
Prayer:
Dear Heavenly FATHER,
Thank you for being our complete fret release. You are faithful and good to us. May we increase our trust in You more. And now We cast all our anxieties on You because we know You care for us. Thank You for helping us have Peace. In Your Matchless Name, Jesus, Amen.
