“PENTECOST IS THE HOLY SPIRIT’S BIRTHDAY.”
There is a beautiful song entitled; “Here Comes The Glory “ by David & Nicole Binion. As I was listening to that powerful song, my mind raced to PENTECOST is coming. So, often we forget that right after Resurrection immediately comes the season of Pentecost. The season of celebrating how the first church WAITED as JESUS told them to. They obediently waited for the arrival of the Holy Spirit. That was the last promise JESUS promised before He Ascended back to His Father. They Waited for the HOLY SPIRIT to come into the upper room. They Waited for the GLORY of GOD to fill the room and set their souls on fire.
The Waited to be endowed with Holy Power to do greater works. They Waited for the promise. And, the PROMISE came like a mighty wind shelving out the old and sweeping in the new. In a nutshell, that’s what happened the first Pentecost season. In four weeks, PENTECOST SUNDAY will be Commemorated. But, before it arrives, have you thought about how you should wait for Pentecost 2021?
Most people celebrate the day of. But, something marvelous happened as the people waited on the first Pentecost. It can happen again IF we all get in the same mindset of EXPECTANCY. While Mother’s Day is a big celebration, I hope expecting Pentecost is not forgotten. Remember, JESUS loves being the center of your expectantly waiting to celebrate Pentecost 2021.

Dear Heavenly FATHER,
Thank you for giving us a Pentecost season to celebrate forever. May we observe it in remembrance of Your empowering Spirit being launched in us to do greater works.
